Community Pride Lifetime Learning Award
Marty believed in the support of the local community and spent countless hours working with the Boy Scouts of America, Freemasons, and community leaders to improve the lives of those in his local community. To be awarded this scholarship, applicants must display exemplary contributions to his or her local community by proving a lasting, sustainable, and selfless impact on the lives of those around them.

Sustainable Environment Award
When Marty was not working to better environmental standards worldwide, he was marveling in its beauty. Through many camping, hiking, and backpacking trips, he gained an appreciation for the awe-inspiring beauty of nature. Any student whose passion lies in an environmental science (recycling, natural conservation, sustainable and renewable energy, animal sciences, biology, etc.) is encouraged to apply for this scholarship. While a specific discipline is not required, the student must demonstrate a life-long commitment to environmental awareness and the conservation of nature. You could write an essay, direct a video, or organize a community event. Use your imagination to demonstrate your passion for nature by any means possible. The sky is the limit.
